THE CALL FOR SCHOLARSHIPS FOR POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHERS FROM FOREIGN UNIVERSITIES/SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ORGANIZATIONS FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2026/2027

University of Kragujevac, based on the decision of awarding scholarships to postdoctoral candidates (No. II-01-303/4 on 11.04.2023.), announces the CALL FOR SCHOLARSHIPS FOR POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHERS FROM FOREIGN UNIVERSITIES/SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ORGANIZATIONS FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2026/2027   The University of Kragujevac awards one scholarship totaling 1000 euros per month, for postdoctoral specialization for a minimum period of one month to maximum 3 months, during the academic year 2026/2027, for postdoctoral candidates from foreign universities/scientific research organizations that would implement their specialization at the University of Kragujevac. The scholarship is awarded to the candidate who meets the requirements of the competition, who is employed in the foreign university/scientific research organizations and has a doctorate in one of the fields implemented at the University of Kragujevac as follows: natural sciences medical sciences technical and technological sciences social sciences and humanities art The right to apply has a Doctor of Science (PhD) who is: employed at the foreign university/scientific research organizations, below the age of 40. The applicant shall submit the following documents: A Completed, personally signed, and certified application for the competition on the form which is an integral part of this Decision; Proof of employment at a foreign university/foreign research organization, along with evidence of the corresponding teaching/scientific title (decision on appointment to the title and employment contract/engagement agreement); Proof of a successfully defended doctoral dissertation (copy of diploma or certificate); Decision of the responsible authority of the foreign university/scientific research organization where the candidate is employed, regarding their professional development and approval of the candidate's absence; Consent of the responsible authority of the foreign university/foreign scientific research institution that the candidate's professional development is in line with the needs of scientific development and is part of the research development program; Biography; Candidate's bibliography; Proof that the candidate has secured a place for professional development at a University - faculty/institute within the University of Kragujevac (invitation letter); Plan and program of work for the postdoctoral professional development of the candidate during the duration of the scholarship (prepared and signed jointly by the candidate and the mentor/supervisor from the faculty/institute within the University where the professional development will take place); Copy of passport; Estimated costs of stay during the professional development, with travel expenses separately indicated. Free of charge STEPAM MOOC Course – An Opportunity to Enhance Teaching Practice through the STE(A)M Approach

The STE(PA)M project (STEPAM – Teacher Training in Physical Activities and Embodied Learning through STEAM Education, project number: 2023-1-RS01-KA220-HED-000166894) aims to improve the education system by integrating physical activity into the STEAM approach, thereby fostering the development of key student competencies such as critical thinking, creativity, and digital skills. The project will develop practical educational materials, including a handbook with 36 examples, a scientific publication, and an e-learning platform to ensure wide applicability and sustainability of the model. A particular focus is placed on empowering teachers and promoting the STE(PA)M approach at both national and international levels. The project is coordinated by the University of Kragujevac, in partnership with institutions from Finland and Austria.
