The purpose of the visit of the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the State Technical University to the University of Kragujevac was to enhance academic and scientific cooperation, as well as to discuss opportunities for the implementation of joint educational and research activities.

On 5 June 2026, Prof. dr Dejana Zlatanović, Vice-Rector for Education of the University of Kragujevac, Prof. dr Vladimir Senić, Dean of the Faculty of Hotel Management and Tourism, Prof. dr Darko Dimitrovski, Vice-Dean for Science and International Cooperation of the Faculty of Hotel Management and Tourism, and Ms. Olivera Mijatović, Head of the Department for International Cooperation and Project Implementation Monitoring, met with a delegation from Northwest Normal University, led by Mr. Zhou Hong, Head of the Department of Cultural Industries Management. The Chinese delegation also included Mr. Zhao Xinghu, Party Secretary of the College, Ms. Wang Yanlin, English Teacher and interpreter, and six students from Northwest Normal University. The meeting was also attended by Katarina Bogdanović, representative of the Projects Office of the University of Kragujevac. During the meeting, the participants discussed opportunities for enhancing cooperation between the two higher education institutions, with a particular focus on establishing continuous communication and coordination in the implementation of future joint activities in the fields of social sciences and humanities, natural sciences and mathematics, as well as education. Representatives of the two universities discussed student, academic and administrative staff mobility programmes, opportunities for academic exchanges, internships, and joint projects, as well as other initiatives that could contribute to the further internationalisation of both institutions. At the same time, students from Northwest Normal University were welcomed at the Career Development Centre by representatives of the Mobility Office, Milica Spasojević and Predrag Vukomanović. The students had the opportunity to meet exchange students from Türkiye and Egypt and learn more about Erasmus+ mobility opportunities, life in Serbia, and studying at the University of Kragujevac. The visit of the Northwest Normal University delegation was held in a welcoming and constructive atmosphere, reflecting the mutual commitment of both institutions to deepening academic and research cooperation. On this occasion, the participants reaffirmed their shared interest in developing new forms of collaboration and launching joint initiatives in areas of common interest.

On June 3, 2026, Professor Vladimir Rankovic, PhD, Rector of the University of Kragujevac, Professor Predrag Đurđevic, PhD, Vice-Rector for International Relations, and Olivera Mijatovic, PhD, Head of the Department for International Cooperation, met with a delegation from Taishan University led by Professor Zhang Shoufeng, Vice President of the University.
