Call for Circular Solutions for Communities in Serbia

Topic: The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Ministry of Environmental Protection, with the support of the Global Environment Facility (GEF), are launching a Public Call for Circular Solutions for Communities in Serbia. The call is open to local self-government units (cities and municipalities), public utility companies, business entities (companies and sole proprietors), research and educational institutions, civil society organizations, professional associations, and foundations. Applications may be submitted either by individual applicants or by a consortium. The call is open to a wide range of innovative initiatives that promote the circular economy in local communities, including innovative solutions that enhance public spaces, circular public services, and the use of renewable energy sources for the public good. The call also welcomes local initiatives focused on the reuse and repair of products, the exchange and sharing of goods, and the reduction of food loss and waste in the hospitality sector, educational institutions, and public kitchens, as well as other proposed solutions aligned with the principles of the circular economy.
Budget allocated for each selected solution: 40.000 USD
Budget: 180.000 USD
