Foreigners issue of health care is governed by the Health Protection ("Official Gazette" No. 107/2005, 72/2009, 88/2010, 99/2010, 57/2011, 119/2012, 45/2013 ? 93/2014/”Sl. glasnik br. 107/2005, 72/2009, 88/2010, 99/2010, 57/2011, 119/2012, 45/2013 ? 93/2014” ), the Law on Health Insurance ("RS Official Gazette" No. 107/2005, 109/2005, 57/2011, 110/2012, 119/2012, 99/2014, 123/2014 ? 126/2014 /”Sl. glasnik br. 107/2005, 109/2005, 57/2011, 110/2012, 119/2012, 99/2014, 123/2014 ? 126/2014”) and the Regulations on the procedure for the implementation of compulsory health insurance ("Official Gazette" No. 10/2010, 18/2010, 46/2010, 52/2010, 80/2010, 60/2011 ? 1/2013/”Sl. glasnik br. 10/2010, 18/2010, 46/2010, 52/2010, 80/2010, 60/2011 ? 1/2013”).

Foreigners who are eligible to acquire the properties insured in accordance with the law governing the field security exercise mandatory health care in accordance with these regulations.

Health care is provided to foreigners under way, which provides health care to the citizens of the Republic.

Health care and private practice, as well as lifetime health workers are obliged to parties of immediate medical attention.

Foreigners own bear costs for emergency medical assistance, as well as other types of health services which are provided on an alien's request.

For the use of health services stranger pays a fee to the price list of health care facilities, or private practice applies.

From the budget of the fee medical institutions and private practices in Emergency indication of a foreigner, if the health institution or private practice that compensation could not collect from a stranger, because he does not have the necessary funds.

Nationals or insured countries that signed the International contract which regulate social security exercise of compulsory health insurance in the content and scope of which are defined by the Law on Health Insurance, an international treaty social insurance provides otherwise.

Foreign citizens on education or professional training in the territory of the Republic of Serbia

  • Valid travel document (passport)
  • Certificate of the university or school attended by foreign citizen
  • White Card (not older than 6 months)
