Call for Applications for Funded Long-Term Student Mobility for Studies within the Erasmus+ Programme

In accordance with the signed Grant Agreement between the University of Kragujevac and the Tempus Foundation, the University of Kragujevac announces a Call for Applications for funded long-term student mobility for studies within the Erasmus+ KA131 programme: SMS – Student Mobility for Studies.
I Application Requirements
- Students enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s, and integrated academic studies at all faculties of the University of Kragujevac, as well as students enrolled in master’s programmes at the University of Kragujevac, are eligible to apply.
- The mobility period will take place during the winter semester of the 2026/2027 academic year.
- The mobility duration is between 4 and 5 months (120–150 days), depending on the academic calendar of the host university.

The University of Kragujevac has two available student places per partner university. - Students may apply to a maximum of two institutions (first and second choice).
- In this case, the candidate must submit a proposed Learning Agreement and a Motivation Letter for both institutions.
- A candidate can be selected for mobility at only one institution.
- If a candidate applies to multiple calls announced during the winter semester of the 2025/2026 academic year (KA131 and KA171), they may carry out mobility under only one call.

Travel Costs
Selected students organize their travel independently, but they are entitled to a travel grant.
The amount of the round-trip travel grant is calculated based on the distance between the place of departure and the mobility destination, according to the amounts approved by the Programme. The Erasmus+ Distance Calculator is used to calculate the travel distance.
Students who use environmentally friendly means of transport for the majority of their round trip (e.g., train, bus, or car-sharing) are entitled to a higher travel grant under the “Green Travel” option.

Inclusion in the Erasmus+ Programme
The Erasmus+ Programme aims to promote equal opportunities, access, inclusion, diversity, and fairness in all of its activities. Particular attention is given to participants with fewer opportunities, and the programme provides mechanisms and resources to ensure accessibility to a wide range of participants.
Students with Fewer Opportunities
Students belonging to inclusion categories are entitled to an additional allowance of 250 EUR per month.

Students with Disabilities
Applicants with disabilities must submit relevant medical documentation in addition to the mandatory application documents. Additional information is available HERE.
If a selected candidate is a person with a disability, they may be eligible for reimbursement of eligible actual costs incurred during the mobility period, upon submission of additional documentation.
Health Insurance
The cost of mandatory health insurance during the mobility period is not covered by the scholarship.
All selected candidates are required to obtain appropriate health insurance independently and will receive detailed instructions before the start of their mobility.

III Evaluation and Selection
- After the application deadline, the International Relations Office of the University of Kragujevac conducts a technical review of submitted applications.
- The Commission for the Implementation of Student Mobility Programmes at the University of Kragujevac evaluates all applications in accordance with the Rulebook on the Criteria for Evaluation and Selection of Students, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of the University of Kragujevac within the Erasmus+ Programme (Students – Evaluation Form).
- Based on this evaluation, a final ranking list of candidates is created and published on the University of Kragujevac website.
- Priority will be given to candidates with disabilities during the ranking process.
- Ranking lists are published on the University website in the “Call Results” section.
- If a candidate believes that they have been treated unfairly during the evaluation or ranking process, they may submit an appeal in accordance with the defined appeal procedure (Rulebook, Article 15).
- All selected candidates will receive instructions and information about the next steps regarding the implementation of their mobility via email.
IV Application Procedure
Applications must be submitted exclusively via the Erasmus+ Portal.

Applications that are not submitted through the portal, submitted after the deadline, or incomplete will not be considered.
