Call for Applications for Funded Student Mobility for Traineeships within the Erasmus+ Programme

In accordance with the signed Grant Agreement between the University of Kragujevac and the Tempus Foundation, the University of Kragujevac announces a Call for Applications for funded long-term student mobility for traineeships within the Erasmus+ KA131 programme: SMP – Student Mobility for Traineeship.
I Eligibility Criteria
- The call is open to students of bachelor’s, master’s, and integrated academic studies from all faculties of the University of Kragujevac, as well as students of master’s programmes at the University of Kragujevac.
- The traineeship must be completed by 31 December 2026.
- The duration of the traineeship is 2 months (60 days).
- The list of required application documents is available HERE.
- Students independently find the company/institution where they wish to complete the traineeship. The only requirement is that the selected organization is located in one of the countries listed in the table below. You may also consult the Erasmus Intern platform, created as a project of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), where traineeship offers are published. Additionally, some universities offer traineeships – see the list of partner institutions.
- Candidates may apply to a maximum of two institutions (first and second choice). In this case, the candidate must submit a letter of acceptance, motivation letter, and traineeship agreement for both institutions. A candidate can be selected for mobility at only one institution.
- If a candidate applies to multiple calls published in the winter semester of the 2025/2026 academic year (KA131 and KA171), they may carry out mobility under only one call.

Additional traineeship support
All selected candidates receive an additional 150 EUR per month as individual support for students undertaking traineeships.
Travel costs
Selected students organize their travel independently, but they are entitled to a travel allowance.
The amount of the allowance for a round trip is calculated based on the distance between the place of departure and the place of mobility, according to the amounts approved by the Programme.

Students who use low-emission means of transport for most of their round trip (e.g. train, bus, or car-sharing) are entitled to increased travel support:

The Erasmus+ Programme aims to promote equal opportunities, inclusion, diversity, and fairness in all its activities. A special focus is placed on participants with fewer opportunities, and the Programme provides mechanisms and resources to support them.
Students with fewer opportunities
Students belonging to inclusion categories are entitled to an additional 250 EUR per month.
Conditions for obtaining this support are available HERE. Only selected students who meet the criteria will be required to submit the necessary documentation.
Students with disabilities
If a candidate has a disability, in addition to the mandatory application documentation, they must submit appropriate medical documentation. More information can be found HERE.
If a selected candidate has a disability, they may be eligible for reimbursement of actual eligible costs incurred during the mobility period, upon submission of additional documentation.
Insurance
The cost of mandatory health insurance during the mobility period is not covered by the scholarship.
All selected candidates are required to independently obtain an appropriate insurance policy and will receive relevant information before the start of mobility.

III Evaluation and Selection
- After the call closes, the International Relations Office of the University of Kragujevac conducts a technical verification of submitted applications. The Commission for the Implementation of Student Mobility Programmes at the University of Kragujevac evaluates all applications in accordance with the Regulations on Evaluation and Selection Criteria for Students, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of the University of Kragujevac within the Erasmus+ Programme (Student Evaluation Form). The Commission prepares the final ranking list, which is published on the University of Kragujevac website.
- Priority will be given to candidates with disabilities during the ranking process.
- Ranking lists are published on the University website in the “Call Results” section.
- If a candidate believes they were disadvantaged in the evaluation and ranking process, they may file a complaint in accordance with the defined appeal procedure (Regulations, Article 15).
- All selected candidates will receive guidelines and further instructions regarding the mobility process via email.
IV Application
Applications must be submitted exclusively through the Erasmus+ Portal.

Students are kindly requested to respect the technical requirements for submitting application documents.
